and buried to the hilt
it rattled my cage and bars
a charge to be held
a door stood ajar
the light only goes so far

I do have the fear
Im holding this stone
the shape and the weight and all
an errand to run
alone on the path
and then i got kicked in the heart

the hour of lore
so far from the home
that cradles and shepherds it on
a few steps away
and everythings great
and whispers of air
and fear of the weight

we are breaking this glass
and running for the sun
and it won’t hold us long
but i want to go on
as travels become
a life in itself
its all that i have done
thats what i have found

alone in the past
and cradlng the fear
now its up against my chest
so far away from here
that i have been put on the weight
as what i have become
got taken by the hand
and burned to the ground
